ALF's new "Data Retrieval" function — for which a fee-for-use applies — automatically populates ALF's database with information available from the British Columbia Corporate Registry database. Among the information automatically retrieved are Registered and Records office addresses, share class details, and mailing and delivery address for Directors (and Officers, if available).

The result is fast data-entry (seconds for any entity) and assurance that the data in your ALF is consistent with that maintained in the Registry database.

The fee for use of ALF's Data Retrieval function is currently $4.50, plus GST.

You can start the Data Retrieval function to add a new company (or "card" in ALF) using the "New Card Wizard".

Start the retrieval process simply by entering the incorporation (recognition) number of the company and its password.

After retrieval, if you aren't satisfied with the results (for example, Officer information is only available when the company's Annual Report is due, and share class information is not available if the company is not in good standing) you can cancel the retrieval - in which event no fee applies.
